Hirshon Artist in Residence Festival

The Dorothy H. Hirshon Film Festival was established in 2001 by a bequest from the late Dorothy Hirshon, a trustee of The New School for 61 years. Its mission is to promote excellence and education in the filmmaking arts with an annual series of screenings, events, and master classes with a distinguished artist-in-residence.  Now focussed on interactive media formats, including film as a continued component, the festival features a yearly artist/theorist and a number of events throughout the academic year.

Stay tuned for information on the 2014-15 guest, program and my notes on the producing process!
